Realtor, Fran Cook, joined the Martin Realty team as a sales agent after a twenty-five year career with the Alabama Department of Human Resources. As a Financial Support Social Worker, Fran brings her skills as a good listener, negotiator, problem solver and her years of experience in guiding clients’ thorough often-difficult decisions to reach a desired goal and the great satisfaction of knowing she made a difference in their lives.

She applies the same professional services and knowledge as a Realtor to guide sellers and buyers through the process of buying and selling property. She knows just how frustrating this process can be and the result of a small error may add up to big consequences with real estate paperwork when a realtor is not involved. Fran lists and sells residential, commercial, land, and waterfront property in the Wilcox County area.

As the owner of several waterfront residences and lots, Fran is an experienced buyer and seller and has local knowledge of the different amenities and building codes for properties located on the Alabama River area that stretches 105 Miles from the Millers Ferry Lock and Damn north to the Dallas County line. Fran attended school in Monroeville and received a BS degree from Troy University. She is involved in her community by serving on several boards and is an active member of the Wilcox Area Chamber of Commerce. Fran is married to Jimmy Cook and they have three children. She has lived in the Camden area for 30 plus years and enjoys sharing her knowledge of and love for the Black Belt area.
